Lloyd Ave - Stanhope

A new four-plex residential dwelling will be constructed on the corner of Brooklyn Road and Lloyd Avenue in Stanhope. Sussex County Habitat and the Morris Habitat affiliate will collaborate to furnish labor, materials, equipment and services on this second joint project. The Mayor and Council of the Borough of Stanhope are extremely supportive and ready to work with us to help provide their affordable housing obligation. After hearing presentations from three different non-profit groups, the Stanhope Council chose to donate this lot to the Morris and Sussex Habitat affiliates. The successful site plan and architectural proposal was prepared by architect Jeff Rawding of J. F. Rawding, Fred Stewart of Stewart Engineering and Rich Smith of Richard Smith Surveyor.

Two units for low-income families will have two bedrooms. These 2 bedroom units will be for applicants whose income does not exceed $38,536.

The other two units will have only one bedroom and will be for very low income applicants whose income does not exceed $18,497.

We anticipate breaking ground in early 2009 with completion towards the end of 2009.
