Are you a good writer?

We have recently learned of several opportunities to get grants to help cover the cost of building housing for people in need.  If you know how to write grants, great! We need you!.  If you don't know how to write grants, don't worry - we are partners with other Habitat for Humanity chapters and local charities that have offered to help us as we get started writing grants.  If you are interested in this unique opportunity to help the needy in our area, please email us at This email address is being protected from spambots. What is a Habitat ReStore?

The Habitat ReStore is a retail outlet that sells new and used building materials and household items.

New and like-new items are offered at 50% below 'big box' original retail prices. You may bring an advertisement or web listing of your desired item.

Used items are offered up to 75% off original retail value.

Obviously used items are offered up to 80% off original retail value.

Where do we get our merchanise?

From local businesses with excess inventory, contractors with materials they couldn't use, and people with household items they hope someone else can benefit from.  All donors get thank you letters so that they may be able to take tax deductions. Sussex County HFH is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization.  We are not tax advisors, so please refer all personal tax questions to your tax advisor before making a donation.

To donate, please see our donations page & then contact us at (973) 948-4850.
