There are many ways to volunteer at Sussex County HFH.

Volunteers are needed for all types of work. Don't feel that just because you can't "build" a house that you can't volunteer. We need all types of help, including making lunch for our work crew, picking up around a work site, manning a booth at a fundraiser or volunteering at our office. We can use everyone's help. Please contact us and tell us about your skills, and we will find a place for you.

ReStore Opportunities: Looking to volunteer?  Come work with us by putting donated items away, creating displays, pricing, performing checkout steps, and helping shoppers find what they need.  We would be grateful for help on Saturday morning.  Just stop by for a guided tour!  Proceeds from the ReStore go directly to our building projects right here in Sussex County.  Your efforts and purchases will have an immediate impact on our fundraising for the next Sussex County housing project.

Office Administration: We always need asistance in the office too!   Answer phones and basic HFH questions, perform mailroom duties, create signs & help the public find a specialized volunteer.  Each 'day' is 3 hours long and can be adjusted to accomodate your schedule.
